J-Ho Redemption

Josh Howard played pretty good last night to get Rick Carlisle his first win as the Dallas Mavericks head coach. I know its only preseason, but for some strange reason I'm excited about this season. Sure, I know the Mavs will proly get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs if they even make it that far, but last night I noticed something different about their game. I noticed a lot of steal/interception attempts and good rebounding for second chance opportunities, a lot of which were successful, flat out hustle. It was also nice to see Diop out there getting a block or two.

Something else I'm excited about is having a Slam Dunk contest winner in Gerald Green on the team. Although I'm sure his time will be limited, he'll have a few good season highlights. Here's a lil fun fact, Gerald Green is missing half of his ring finger on his right hand.
