During the last couple of games (which the Mavs both lost...) we noticed Josh Howard wearing some player edition Jordan IIs. Hmmm, I guess we should we expect a plethora of retro IIs later this year.

A lot of celebs in the Foundation Room at the House of Blues that night. Among them was ?uestlove, Dave Chapelle, Josh Howard & Jerry Stackhouse of the Dallas Mavericks, Pharoah Monch, 9th Wonder, Bun B who was spotted briefly but disappeared.

The Kidd is Back

It's finally official, Jason Kidd is back with his original team and will be starting tonight with the #2 (because Josh Howard wears #5) against the New Orleans Hornets. Let's just hope the old man doesn't throw up any air balls. Who knows? Maybe he still has enough fuel left in him to get us to a championship? or at least the 2nd round of the playoffs this year....

I'm sure all you guys have been keeping up with the Mavericks drama on the Kidd trade. Well it appears as of last night after the All Star game that the deal is still a go. A few changes have been made to the original deal...

Sources say Mavs swingman Trenton Hassell and the unofficially retired Van Horn will be plugged into the trade in place of Jerry Stackhouse and Devean George. If the newly proposed deal gets the league's signoff, New Jersey would receive 24-year-old point guard Devin Harris, center DeSagana Diop, guard Maurice Ager, forwards Hassell and Van Horn, two first-round draft picks and $3 million in cash for Kidd, Nets forward Malik Allen and newly added guard Darrell Armstrong.

One last problem remains. Van Horn, has to agree to sign (for roughly $4 million) and must pass a physical. He hasn't played since the 2005-06 season.

Big Game tonight against the Celtics (35-8). We'll be playing tonight with the absence of Jerry Stackhouse and Devin Harris which will make this one tough. The good new is Kevin Garnett might not be playing due to an abdominal strain. Don't miss this one! The games starts at 6p.m. on KTXA21 and TNT.

They Live

A lot of annoying Lakers yelling behind us watched as their their team fell short and lost last nights game after JTs 3 point shot late in the 4th quarter. Our expectations for this game were right on the money for the most part. DJ Mbenga, ex Mav still sucks in a Laker uniform and Kobe as always was the only reason this team even stood a chance. We did although expect to see Josh Howard debuting the Titanium Jordan 23s last night but apparently even he couldn't get his hands on a pair. The Mavericks push their record to 29-13. You can watch the Mavericks host the Nuggets tomorrow on ESPN via ABC at 5:30pm.
